In commemoration of this year (2021) EARTH HOUR with theme ‘Climate change to save earth’, Malkerns Town Board is planting indigenous trees along Masotjeni junction towards Mseleni, in continuation of the existing ones. Role played by trees in climate change; they serve as carbon sink, reducing amount of unwanted gases/ emissions in the atmosphere.Let us protect these trees, no burning shall be done around that piece of land

Donations worth E100 000 by Malkerns Property Owners
Donations by Malkerns property owners and former residents living abroad are pouring in for forward distribution to vulnerable people of the town affected by the lock-down. The Town Board chairperson, the Board Members and the entire Malkerns Community applaud such generosity by community members and international citizens during this period of great need. The Board has already distributed the donated items to those members of the community who were identified as highly vulnerable. Those include young children and elderly.
